This is one of those fish that just works—no matter how you cook it.

Wild Alaskan Rockfish (often called Pacific Snapper) is known for its mild, slightly sweet flavor and tender, flaky texture, making it a go-to option for everything from quick weeknight dinners to family meals everyone will actually eat.

If seafood has ever felt intimidating… this is the one that changes that.

And just like everything we offer, it’s sourced with the same standards we hold on our farm—clean, traceable, and something we confidently feed our own family.

What makes it different:

  • 100% wild-caught in Alaska — never farmed
  • Sustainably harvested from cold, clean waters
  • Flash frozen at peak freshness for better flavor and texture
  • Mild, delicate flavor with a slightly sweet, nutty finish
  • Lean, high-quality protein source
  • Sushi-quality fish

Portion Details:

  • 8 oz portions
  • Individually vacuum sealed
  • Medium-firm, tender white fish
  • Perfect for 1–2 servings

How to cook it (simple):

Pan-sear, bake, or grill—this fish is incredibly forgiving and cooks beautifully in minutes.

Best for:

  • Easy, no-fuss dinners
  • Fish tacos, bowls, or simple skillet meals
  • Families looking for a mild, approachable seafood option

👉 Pro tip: Pair with shrimp or salmon to build a simple seafood night—or add to your next meat order to round out your freezer.

We stopped at the shop and the owner Josh met us and walked us through the process. They are amazing people with an amazing product. We get the beef and chicken. Some of the best meat we ever purchased. Yes it costs a bit more but believe me it was well worth it!!!! Please support local business, especially Flourish and Roam!!

We Have Answers.

Everything You Need to Know About Our Meat, Ranch, and Ordering Process.

What is Dry-Aging?

Dry aging is when you take a piece of meat and put it into a controlled open-air environment to go through a flavor transformation. By exposing the meat to air, moisture is pulled out and the natural enzymes in the beef break the muscles down slowly over time, making it more tender. All of our beef is dry-aged from steaks to ground beef for 21 days.

What do your cows eat?

We utilize a unique rotational grazing system for our cattle, allowing them to graze on grass while being supplemented with a non-GMO, soy-free feed during the last three months of their lives. This method promotes high-quality beef and supports sustainable farming practices, making our products both delicious and environmentally friendly.

When will my order ship?

Orders are shipped the following Monday after they are received. Order before Mondays at 8AM for same day shipping. With the exception of holidays when UPS is not running, shipments will be moved to the next business day. Why don't we ship every day? Due to the nature of shipping perishable food shipping later in the week risks shipments getting stuck at distribution centers over the weekend and ruining the shipment.
