To obtain raw unpasteurized milk in Ohio you either have to possess your own cow, or buy a partial interest from someone's dairy herd, known as a 'herd share'. Ohio also allows raw milk to be sold and labeled as 'pet food'.

At Pure Moo Dairy we have decided to sell through a herd share so we can share with you the benefits of consuming raw milk and share in all the fun ways you can transform your milk into other products such as: butter, ice cream, cheese, kefir, and yogurt.

Share Options (a one-time cost that gives you part ownership of the herd):

• Half share is $50
• Full share is $100
• 2 Full Shares is $200 etc.

[If you decide you are no longer able to continue owning your share in the future, we will buy the share back from you at the purchase price.]

Boarding Fee (This is a weekly cost that covers the feed, care, and boarding of your share of the herd):

• For 1 Half Share the boarding fee is $6 per week. A half share is equal to 1/2 gallon of milk per week or 1 gallon every other week.
• For 1 Full Share the boarding fee is $12 per week. A full share is equal to 1 gallon per week or 2 gallons every other week.
• For 2 Full Shares the boarding fee is $24 per week and equal to 2 gallons per week and so on…

Payment options for weekly board can be in the form of cash, check payable to 'Pure Moo', or Zelle during milk pickup.

Upon paying for your herd share we will schedule an appointment to go over the details and sign your herd share agreement during your first herd share pickup. Milk pickup times are flexible and will be available inside the Flourish & Roam farm store.

Raw milk is NOT eligible for shipping or local delivery. It must be picked up from the farm store. If you checkout selecting another option you will be refunded the purchase price less $5 to cover processing fees.
